About the role: Our project support staff are the backbone to our operations and getting the right people onboard from contract inception is critical to our success. Our project staff lead from the front, are forward-thinkers and enjoy diversity in their working week as they juggle the multiple priorities and expectations that come with working on a busy, productive mine site.  

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for a Supplyperson:

  • Ability to work in surface and underground mining operations;
  • Responsible for continuous and timely supply of equipment and consumables for underground production activities;
  • Effective management of surface lay down areas, ensuring the yard is maintained to a high standard;
  • Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries and escort of vehicles;  
  • Assist Warehouse with maintaining store locations to a high standard of orderliness and housekeeping;
  • Assist Warehouse with accurate stock-taking and recording of any stock items to avoid loss of production.

Minimum skills/tickets required:

  • Demonstrated experience in similar role in underground coal mining;
  • Ability to work underground unaccompanied (i.e. prior experience working underground)
  • Demonstrated experience and ticketed to operator Loaders / Forklifts;
  • Current QLD Coal Board Medical;
  • Current Underground Standard 11 Statement of Attainment;
  • Valid Driver’s Licence / Signed Training Transcripts to operate underground loaders and surface vehicles.
