MyneSight is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #31900) and is a part of the Mastermyne Group of Companies. It provides accredited training and consulting services designed to upskill workforces. It has been delivering training and compliance solutions in Queensland since 2008 and more recently New South Wales that improve efficiency and reduce costs to mine operators in the resources sector.

About the opportunity:

Our Mackay and Wollongong training centres are seeking experienced and qualified Trainer/Assessors. Working as part of a small on-site team, the roles will play a critical part in delivering quality training programs to clients across NSW and Queensland. You will enjoy working in a close-knit team environment with the benefits of being part of a larger Company with multiple opportunities throughout the business.

About the person:

Our Trainer Assessors possess strong communication and presentation skills coupled with a desire to learn and help grow our training business. You will be self-motivated, a natural problem solver and have strong time management and organisational skills to deliver quality training programs.

Mynesight is experiencing growth in training new entrant and experienced mining operators across the mining regions in NSW and QLD. As a trainer/assessor you must hold the full TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and proven training experience and facilitation of Nationally Accredited Training competencies equivalent to or above the below list. We are looking to recruit new staff into our casual trainer/assessor network for the following courses:

  • RII20320 Certificate II in Underground Coal Mining
  • RII20420 Certificate II in Underground Metalliferous Mining
  • RII30220 Certificate III in Underground Coal Operations
  • RII30420 Certificate III in Resource Processing
  • RII30320 Certificate III in Underground Metalliferous Mining
  • RII40420 Certificate IV in Underground Coal Operations
  • RII50920 Diploma of Underground Coal Mining Management

Specific training experience required for our Hunter Valley/Singleton region:

  • RIIUND207E Conduct underground lifting operations
  • MSMSUP205 Transfer Loads
  • RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
  • RIIWHS204E Working safely at Heights

Specific training experience required for our Bowen Basin region:

  • Mobile Equipment
  • Fixed Plant
  • Standard 11 Surface and Underground
  • RIIUND207E Conduct underground lifting operations
  • MSMSUP205 Transfer Loads
  • RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
  • RIIWHS204E Working safely at Heights
  • RIIHAN201E Forklift
