What we offer

Mastermyne Group’s Cleanskin Program has offered over 500 candidates the opportunity to commence a career in underground coal mining throughout our QLD and NSW operations.

Our Program offers people inexperienced to underground coal mining (cleanskins) the opportunity to undertake hands-on training. By partnering with our RTO MyneSight, we can deliver skills training and work readiness in a simulated underground mine environment. This is a benefit to both our cleanskin employee and our clients who we have been providing contract mining services to for over 22 years.

About you

Recruitment Days are run throughout the year to assess candidate suitability to these positions. Prior experience is not required but key selection criteria is based on the following skills and experience:

  • A genuine interest in working for Mastermyne in an underground coal mine
  • Ability to perform the duties of an underground miner / operators. There will be labour intensive duties required.
  • Strong focus on team work and safe work behaviours
  • Adaptable to changing industry conditions
  • Willingness to participate in appropriate training to prepare you to be site-ready
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done

What is next
